Classic Trans Himalaya with Dalhousie

Day 01  :  Delhi  – Narkanda [09 hrs]

Arrive at Delhi Residence & Drive to Narkanda / Theog one of the most beautiful hill stations.. on arrival stay at the hotel Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 : Narkanda – Sangla Via Sarahan [8hrs]

Before breakfast leave for Sangla via Sarahan …visit to Bhimakali Temple during puja. It is revered as one of the fifth Shaktipeeth. Leave for beautiful Sangla valley. Enroute Trandha Maa temple is known for its sheer drop. A journey from Karcham onwards is enjoyable and adventurous throughout the valley. The natural scenery all around and the eternal snow view are picturesque & charming. This is the most charming valley in the entire District of Kinnaur. It is also known as Baspa valley since the Baspa River flows through this valley. Explore the vicinity around including an ancient Kamro Fort & temple dedicated to Nages God. Leave for Rakchham village. O/N at Hotel Rupin River View.

Day 03 : Rakchham – Chitkul– Sangla

This Day explores the Beauty of KINNAUR at an altitude of 3050mts, just on the Right Bank Of River Baspa which offers you a spectacular view of the entire valley with Baspa river flowing in its pristine glory, fields with apple orchards & buckwheat along with the mountain slopes, dense forest with alpine & coniferous trees & towering snowcapped Himalayan peaks on the top. It is an area even today untouched and unspoiled. On the other side, there is a totally opposite scene. High, rugged, totally naked snow-capped peak, along with Great Kinner Kailash.

When you sit by the river and admire the beauty of Rakchham is completely another world. I would say, you would have never seen this kind of creation of extraordinary beauty in your life. This place is a paradise for trekking, bird-watching, professional photography, and extreme condition for the rock climber. The hotels offer different kinds of trips to the upper pasture land. You will not get such a combination in any hotels in Kinnaur. Visit Chitkul, the last village on the old Indo- Tibetan Route, walk through the village & brilliant stream. Back to the same hotel.

Day 04  :  Sangla – Kalpa [70 Kms 4 Hrs]

The morning after breakfast leave for Kalpa via Reckong Peo short stop to explore a market famous for its dry fruit & local woolen clothes, en route visit Koti Mata Temple. Arrival at Hotel Most of the Hotel rooms faces Jorkanden & The Kinner Kailash Peaks, considered as one of the mythical homes of Lord Shiva & by its side is a seventy-nine-foot rock formation that resembles a Shivalinga that changes color as the day passes & is visible to the naked eye on a clear day.  Rogi Village is known for its sheer drop locally called suicide point. Then to Chini village which has an ancient temple & monastery. Afternoon again you have an opportunity to enjoy the mystical beauty of great Kinner Kailash. O/N stays at a hotel.

Day 05:    Kalpa – Nako – Tabo [200 Kms 8 hrs]

After breakfast leave for Tabo, Enroute Nako Lake, this is one of Kinnaur‘s most picturesque hamlets, Nako is slated to be declared a heritage village built around a small lake & has an important Buddhist Gompa & small temples. After Early lunch for Gui Village, famous for its mummies 500 to 600years old. O/N at Tabo.

Day 06  :  Tabo – Kaza [80 Kms 5hrs]

After breakfast leave for Tabo, Enroute Nako Lake, this is one of Kinnaur‘s most picturesque hamlets, Nako is slated to be declared a heritage village built around a small lake & has an important Buddhist Gompa & small temples. After Early lunch for Gui Village, famous for its mummies 500 to 600years old. O/N at Tabo.

Day 07 : Kaza – Langza – Komic – Hikkim – Kibber – Key Monastery – Kaza

Wake up in the beautiful town of Kaza and get ready to explore the nearby villages of Langza (The fossil village), Komic, Hikkim & Key monastery. Each of these villages is famous for special reasons.

Langza is known as the Fossil village of India due to the abundance of marine fossils found here. Hikkim claims to have the world’s highest post office. While Komic is the worlds highest village to be connected with a motorable road.

You can also visit Kibber which is famous for the ibex and Snow leopard sightings.

Kye monastery is one of the most famous monasteries of Spiti Valley. It is one of the main centers of Buddhist learning in the valley. After sightseeing at the Key monastery, head towards Kaza for the evening stay.

Day 08 : Kaza — Chandratal Lake  — Manali

Today Early morning breakfast head towards the famous Chandratal Lake. Chandra Tal lake is situated at a distance of 55 km from Kaza and is said to be the source of the Chandra river. Enjoy some quality time near the lake. After this depart to Manali.  Manali via the infamous Rohtang Pass. On the way to Manali, depending on the time left you can also spend some time at the Solang Valley. Overnight stay at a hotel in Manali.

Day 09: 16 Oct 2021 Manali local sightseeing

Today enjoy breakfast in the beautiful town of Manali and head for local sightseeing of the town. Today you can visit the Hadmiba Devi temple, Van Vihar, Club House, Tibetian Monastery, Manali Mall road, etc. Overnight stay at a hotel in Manali.

Day 10: Manali – Dalhousie (10 HRS)

The morning after breakfast, drive to Dalhousie (It is also called as mini swizz of India due to its scenic beauty). Arrive & transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the Market. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 11: Dalhousie – Khajjiar (22 Km/45 Mins) – Dalhousie

Today after a hearty breakfast cover Khajjiar sightseeing. Khajjiar is a place where one can easily spend the whole day admiring the beauty of sparkling Khajjair Lake, wandering in 9 hole golf course, or just sitting and feeling the peace. After such a joyful experience, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 12 : Dalhousie – Delhi ( 11 Hrs. )

Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive back to Delhi. Our Driver will drop you at the Delhi residence address.
