On your arrival at Chandigarh railway station/airport, you will be met by our driver and he will drive you to Shimla ( 4 hrs) via Barog, Solan. En route, you will stop for a lunch break at Barog ( 2 hrs from Chandigarh)and comfort breaks and would have enough time to stop for photo breaks. You will reach Shimla in the evening and will transfer to your hotel in Shimla. Overnight stay in Hotel in Shimla. The evening is free to explore the mall road of Shimla.
Shimla Local sightseeing package after breakfast at the hotel we will set off at around 9:00 A.M. Today it is a drive of 8-9 hrs, driving through the beautiful villages of Fagu, Theog, Matiana, Narkanda, and Rampur. En route, we will have many comfort breaks and will visit the Apple orchards and Hattu peak (3,400 meters/ 11,154 feet) at Narkanda, from where you can have a spectacular view of the mighty Central Himalayas and will also visit the traditional wooden carved temple of Goddess Kali on the top. We will also stop by a small lake on the way to Hattu Peak. Later on, we continue our drive to Sarahan via Rampur, and Enroute we will stop for lunch breaks and various picture breaks, and comfort breaks. Sarahan – the tiny village offers splendid views of Shrikhand Mahadev Peak (5,155 meters). The major attraction in Sarahan is the centuries-old Hindu temple of Goddess Bhimakali. Steeped in legend, the temple complex is a resplendent example of hill architecture. Sarah is also the gateway to Kinnaur valley. Overnight stay in Hotel in Sarahan.
Places to Visit in Sarahan After breakfast at your hotel, we will visit the famous temple of Bhimakali at Sarahan. This is the same temple in which human sacrifices were made about two centuries ago. After visiting the temple we will continue driving to Sangla (4-5 hrs) where you will check in at your hotel or could also choose to stay in fixed luxury tented accommodation. After lunch, you will be taken on a walk through Kamru and Sangla villages ( 1-2 hrs) and we will visit the beautifully carved old temples and Buddhist monasteries. You will have plenty of opportunities to speak to the local people in these valleys. The Sangla valley is also known as the Baspa Sangla valley, after the river Baspa which flows through the valley and it is part of Kinnaur valley. Overnight in luxury tented accommodation/hotel in Kinner in Sangla.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to Kalpa village (2-3 hrs.) En route, we will stop at Recongpeo and will have a walk around the local market. Recongpeo is the district headquarters of Kinnaur district. We will have lunch in a local restaurant where you have a choice to enjoy Indian or Tibetan food. After lunch, we will drive to Kalpa ( 7 km), and you will check in to your hotel. The evening would be free to relax and explore the Kalpa village and enjoy the finest views of Mt. Kinner Kailash Mountain (6,000 meters). This is a spectacular sight early in the morning as the rising sun touches the snowy peaks with crimson and gold light.
Visit Chitkul, the last village on old Indo- Tibetan Route, walkthrough village & brilliant stream. Back to the same hotel.
Places to Visit in Sangla Valley and Chhitkul-Sightseeing in ChitkulToday after breakfast you can choose to walk to the nearby Roghi village ( 3 km) famous for its natural views and cliffs. These villages are covered with thick pine forests and are also famous for apricots and apples. The sights of Kinner Kailash Peak are a spectacular sight early in the morning as the rising sun touches the snowy peaks with crimson and gold light. Later on, the driver will pick you up from Roghi village and will drive back to Kalpa village to the hotel for Lunch. The rest of the day is free to relax on your own and enjoy the mountain views from your hotel.
Rampur, the erstwhile capital of the princely state of Bhushur, is a beautiful town situated on the banks of the Sutlej River, on the India-Tibet Road, in Himachal Pradesh. It is 132 km northeast of Shimla, at an altitude of 924 m. Places of tourist interest include the gabled Padam Palace, Raghunath Temple, and Narsingh Temple. The Lavi Mela, celebrated in late October or early November, is a major attraction and is attended by a large number of people. Overnight at Rampur.
Kalpa Sightseeing-Places To Visit In Kalpa-Travel to the Mesmerising Town of KalpaSojha, Banjar, Jalori Pass, at an altitude of 3134 m, is one of the attractions of Himachal Pradesh. It links inner and outer Seraj. Blessed with panoramic views, the new pass is man-made and carved out from the mountain ranges. This pass is 150 m lower than the old Jalori Pass. Winter Note: During Snowfall Solang valley sightseeing point will be covered if the weather and road condition is clear and the possibility of the vehicle reaching there, otherwise sightseeing up to Barrier Point will be provided.
Rohtang Pass Up To Snow Line [will Be Closed After 15-nov ]
Rohtang Pass up to Snow Line (Snow Line is a barrier point placed by the government to avoid life risks during heavy Snowfall) This spot is famous for adventurous roads and having traces of snow even in heated-up summers. However, with an increase in global warming few months can be devoid of snow yet the panoramic views that it offers are worth watching. On the way to Rohtang Pass, places to cover will be Kothi, Gorge, Gulaba, and Marhi.
Note: Rohtang pass is closed on every Tuesday and during snowfall months/days. NGT (National Green Tribunal) has also limited the number of vehicles visiting Rohtang pass in a day. Thus, this sightseeing will be subject to a permit obtained on the spot and extra cost (Permit + Vehicle charges).
